Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

...that patients who have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) will commonly have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)? 

Patients with PCOS have low progesterone with high estrogen and testosterone.  Progesterone stimulates breathing while estrogen and testosterone actually “inhibits breathing.”  PCOS patients also often times are overweight.
